Understand The Process: From Demo to Finishing Touches
A typical kitchen remodel takes 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the project’s size and complexity. While we strive to keep the process moving, there may be downtime for materials and inspections. We’ll keep you informed throughout, minimizing disruptions while delivering the kitchen of your dreams!
Demolition
The space will be carefully stripped of existing materials, such as old cabinets, countertops, flooring, and possibly drywall. Any walls that need to be removed will be handled at this stage. Proper containment will be used to minimize dust, and the area will be prepped for the upcoming installations.
Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC
New plumbing lines for sinks, dishwashers, and appliances will be installed or relocated as needed. Electrical wiring will be updated for lighting, outlets, and new appliances, ensuring code compliance. HVAC work, such as vent relocation or gas line adjustments, will be completed in preparation for the new layout.
Drywall & Framing
Walls will be framed if necessary, whether for new layouts or structural adjustments. Once the framing is complete, drywall will be installed and finished, ensuring a smooth, paint-ready surface.
Cabinet & Countertop Installation
Once the room is prepped, cabinets will be carefully installed, followed by countertops. Attention to detail ensures that everything is level and properly aligned. Countertops will be templated and fabricated prior to installation for a precise fit.
Flooring & Backsplash Installation
Vinyl, tile, or wood flooring will be laid, ensuring a durable, level foundation for the room. Once the floors are complete, the backsplash will be installed, adding a stylish and functional element to the space.
Painting & Trim
The walls, ceilings, and any trim will be painted in the chosen colors. Door and window trims, as well as baseboards, will be installed, bringing a clean and finished look to the space.
Final Touches & Walkthrough
In this final stage, any remaining details will be addressed, including installing hardware, under-cabinet lighting, and making any necessary adjustments to ensure everything is functioning perfectly. The space will be thoroughly cleaned, and a final walkthrough will be conducted with the client to review the project. Any last-minute touch-ups will be handled to ensure complete satisfaction before the project is officially completed.
