HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR REMODEL
PREPARING YOUR HOME:
Remodeling can be messy, but we take every step to minimize dust and disruption. We use protective coverings and tarps, but you can help by creating clear pathways for our team to access the work area. If possible, keep pets and children away from the remodeling zone for safety reasons.
CLEAR THE AREA: Before the project begins, make sure to clear the space we’ll be working in. For kitchen remodels, this means removing all items from your cabinets, drawers, countertops and storage areas.
REMOVE WALL DECOR & FRAGILE ITEMS: If you have artwork, photos, mirrors, or any fragile decor hanging on the walls near the renovation area, we recommend removing them to prevent any accidental damage from vibrations or dust.
SET UP A TEMPORARY SPACE: During a kitchen remodel, we suggest setting up a temporary kitchen in another part of your home. A table with a microwave, toaster oven, or coffee maker can make things easier while the work is being done. For bathroom remodels, ensure you have access to an alternate bathroom or make temporary arrangements.
UNDERSTANDING THE REMODELING PROCESS:
Remodeling is a multi-step process. After demolition, there will be several phases including electrical and plumbing work, drywall installation, and cabinetry or fixture installations. Expect periods where it may seem like little is happening, but rest assured that everything is progressing according to the plan.
TIMELINE AND ACCESS: For kitchens, you can expect to be without your primary kitchen space for about 6-8 weeks. Bathrooms may range from 2-4 weeks, depending on the scope of the remodel. We understand this can be disruptive, so we work as efficiently as possible while maintaining our high standards of quality.
STAY INVOLVED IN THE DECISION-MAKING: Throughout the remodeling process, your involvement is crucial. Be prepared to make decisions on design details, material choices, and any unexpected changes that arise. Regularly communicate with our team to address any questions or preferences, and promptly review and approve design plans and progress updates. Staying engaged will help ensure that the final result aligns with your vision and expectations.

BEFORE THE REMODEL:
Make sure to have all your major design choices and materials selected ahead of time, such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, backsplash, and plumbing fixtures. We will assist in guiding you through these selections to prevent delays.
DURING THE REMODEL:
You’ll want to have lighting fixtures, hardware, and any accessories on hand as the project progresses. Don’t forget to plan for smaller purchases like drawer organizers, shelving, or bath accessories that will complete your new space!

HOW LONG WILL THE REMODEL TAKE?

WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL FEES?
Our estimate is based on the scope of work and your initial selections. While we try to account for everything upfront, unforeseen issues (such as plumbing or structural concerns) can result in additional costs. We’ll communicate any changes before moving forward with extra work.

HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?
We accept payments via credit/debit card, check, cash, or Zelle. There are no fees for payments via credit/debit card.
